Align leadership, define your North Star, and chart a clear path for AI impact — in just one month.
The Vision and Roadmap Sprint is a focused, four-week engagement that helps leadership teams identify the single business metric that matters most right now—and build a clear, outcome-driven roadmap for where and how AI should be applied first to move it.
- 4-week leadership sprint (strategic advisory + facilitation)
- Define a North Star Metric to optimize over the next ~90 days
- Identify 3–5 operational targets that move the metric
- Produce a sequenced AI roadmap with a recommended first project
Focus beats a long list of AI ideas.
Rather than generating a long list of AI ideas or debating abstract strategy, the sprint is designed to drive focus and momentum. Your leadership team makes a focusing decision, grounds it in how work actually happens, and aligns on where AI can create the greatest impact first—before investing in solutions.
Through structured, collaborative sessions, we help you:
Define a measurable North Star Metric
To improve over the next ~90 days
Identify high-leverage operational targets
A small number of bottlenecks and opportunities that most directly affect that metric
Translate targets into a sequenced roadmap
An outcome-driven AI roadmap, starting with a clear first project to pursue
Standalone—or builds directly on an AI Enablement Jumpstart
When preceded by Jumpstart
Builds on existing leadership alignment, governance, and staff insights to accelerate prioritization
Uses what was learned to inform and sharpen prioritization once the North Star is defined
When run independently
Begins with leadership alignment
Uses structured, outcome-anchored discovery to reach the same level of operational clarity

How It Works: Vision and Roadmap Sprint
A focused 4-week engagement designed to define your North Star, validate operational targets, and build an actionable AI roadmap.
Pre-work (Before Week 1): Intake
- Intake Session with AI Sponsor and Champion
- Complete the Vision & Roadmap Intake Form to confirm goals, scope, and participants: broad focus area (growth, efficiency, CX), participants for workshops/interviews, logistics for sessions + weekly check-ins
- If following Jumpstart: review Jumpstart outcomes (alignment, governance, staff insights) to inform facilitation
Week 1 — Define the North Star
- 60–90 minute leadership workshop to answer: "Which measurable business outcome must improve in the next ~90 days, and by how much?"
- Goal: align on one specific, measurable metric to anchor discovery and prioritization
Week 2 — Decompose the Work (Bottlenecks & Opportunities)
- Launch Focused Input Survey to staff around the North Star and the work that influences it
- Gather input on: where work slows down / gets stuck (bottlenecks), where speed/capacity/consistency materially improves results (opportunities)
- 60-minute leadership workshop to synthesize findings and define operational targets
Week 3 — Validate and Size Priorities
- 3–6 leader interviews across Weeks 2–3 to validate targets
- Clarify scope and ownership
- Estimate directional impact and effort (T-shirt sizing)
- Narrow to 3–5 high-leverage targets
- Validation touchpoint with leadership
Week 4 — Prioritize & Build the Roadmap
Final Week- Roadmap Workshop: present sequenced roadmap tied to the North Star: what to do first, what to sequence next, what to defer
- Align on the first AI project to pursue
- Conclude with executive-ready summary and action plan

- ×Technical solution design beyond preliminary scoping and effort estimates
- ×Data engineering or enterprise system integration work
- ×Security, compliance, or IT infrastructure configuration outside of discovery discussions
- ×Full-scale change management or training programs (covered in Jumpstart or later Implementation Sprints)
